Boost your score with PowerUps

If you apply PowerUps to a winning fighter that you picked, you can boost your score with bonus points which will be added on top of the points you make at the tournament.

Different PowerUps give different score boosts.

Strike and BlockAsset PowerUps

Bonus points are based on a combination of various attributes:

fighter
tier of the PowerUp
method of victory and
country.

Once you have selected the winning fighter, your bonus points will be calculated in the following manner:

Fighter

If you apply the PowerUp that shows the same fighter as the fighter you picked, you will receive additional 5 points.

*Tier of the PowerUp *

Tier of a Strike PowerUp is the same as the tier of a matching Strike Moment. There are five tiers and if you apply a Strike PowerUp, you will receive the additional point corresponding to that tier.

a. Contender: 1 point
b. Challenger: 2 points
c. Fandom: 3 points
d. Champion: 4 points
e. Ultimate: 5 points

Tier of a BlockAsset PowerUp is as follows:

a. Carbon Latadores: 1 Pt
b. Silver Latadores: 2 Pts
c. Gold Latadores: 3 Pts
d. Emerald Latadores: 4 Pts
d. Legends: 4 Pts
e. Other special categories (inc. Leon Edwards, Smesh Brothers): 3 Pts

*Method of Victory (MoV): *

If the fighter you picked wins the fight by using a MoV that matches with the one on your PowerUp, you will get 2 additional points.

Here are the available MoVs:

a. TKO/KO
b. SUB: Submission
c. DEC: Decision of the judges (for both Grappling and Striking Strike Moments)

*Country *

If you apply a PowerUp carrying the same country flag as the fighter you picked, you will receive an additional 1 point.

All points are stackable: you can get multiple attribute points from any PowerUp and the more PowerUps you add, the more points you will receive.To benefit from the boost, you have to hold the underlying Strike Moment or BlockAsset NFT in your wallet until the end of the fight night (i.e. all fights of that day).

Don't worry - Allocating a PowerUp to a pick does not affect the underlying NFT: You are not burning or disposing of your NFTs and you can always use them again for another tournament!

MoMMA PowerUps

Each MoMMA PowerUp include a specific Method of Victory (MoV). If the fighter you picked wins the fight with the MoV designated on the MoMMA PowerUp, you will get 2 PowerUp points.
