Advisors are big shot fighters who either retired or continue in the MMA world wearing a different hat (journalist, coach, etc.).
Choosing an advisor for your team will boost some of the attributes of the fictional fighters on your team.
You get to choose only one team advisor, so make sure you use good strategy to maximize the boost.
While choosing an advisor, consider the combination of the boost they provide and the team you're creating and their cost. For example, ff you mainly recruit fighters from a specific country, consider hiring an advisor from the same country to benefit from the country boost. But if you have a pretty diverse list of fighters from all around the world, you may want to focus on other attributes.
Some of us choose to follow our heart while picking an advisor. You can't go wrong with that!
